Foundations Program

Our Foundations Program is an internal development program for our Warehouse Associates and Counter Sales Representatives. This program consists of two elements: an online curriculum and a mentorship program. The goal of the Foundations Program is to provide the training and development that our employee-owners require for a successful career in Electrical Distribution. Employee-owners who participate in the Foundations Program are eligible to be promoted to Inside Sales, Product Specialists, and beyond!



Trainee Programs

It’s critical to our organization that we continue to recruit, develop and deploy the best employee-owners. We have trainee programs for inside and outside sales, operations management and logistics management.

       

We’re looking for bright people with a passion for selling, operations, and logistics to join our team! We provide extensive training and development to help get candidates well-prepared quickly - no prior industry experience is needed. The Quest "Roadmap" is an intentional process designed to position all trainees for success when they're ready to move into their role. Our trainees move through various positions, with each step providing another building block, so that they can be confident and effective in their role and career.

Our Summer Internship Program is an excellent way for students to get their foot in the door and expand their skills, experience and readiness to enter the professional world.

     

Our interns gain practical experience while learning about our Supply Chain: working in our warehouse, learning about our systems, products, services and industry. All interns work on special projects, which offer real-world experience across our entire organization. The curriculum includes problem solving, conflict resolution, and creative thinking exercises that will help transform participants into highly desirable employees. At the end of the program, our interns have a robust portfolio of work experience to support and help catapult their upcoming job search.

     
Our internship is unique because all interns participate in a one day “Master’s Class in Business” session at our company headquarters. They observe an executive-level meeting, hear presentations from a variety of key leaders, and participate in a project showcase with company managers. Our “Master’s Class in Business” day is an opportunity for our interns to network and meet our employee-owners while learning what it is that makes our industry and out company so special.
